The final five minutes matter most
Don't let a meeting end with nobody knowing what to do.
Plenty of good meetings become waste in the last five minutes: a lively exchange, then time runs out, everyone leaves, and each person remembers a different version of what was agreed.
'Everyone keep an eye on it' means nobody will
Every action needs ONE person's name — not a department and certainly not 'the team'. Responsibility split across people belongs to nobody, and three weeks later you'll find it never started.
Key takeaway: Final five minutes: restate decisions, set who does what by when with ONE name, and record what's unresolved.
