The work permit application
- The employer's written application for a work permit
- A health certificate or medical examination certificate, valid for 12 months
- A judicial record or confirmation of not serving a sentence, issued no more than 6 months earlier
- Documents proving the person is a manager, executive director, expert or technical worker
- Two colour photographs to the prescribed specification
- A copy of a valid passport
- The written approval of the demand for foreign labour
- Documents relating to the specific form of employment of the foreign national
Two documents with a shelf life
The health certificate is valid for 12 months and the judicial record must be no more than 6 months old. A long assembly period lets these expire before filing — a very common cause of rejection.
