Labour inspections are not random. A fairly stable set of files is asked for in almost every inspection, because these are the duties with unambiguous evidence: either the document exists or it does not.
The key point: these files must be ready before the inspection notice arrives. Once it has, you only have time to assemble what already exists — not to produce three years of safety training records that were never kept.
Where each group typically fails

| Employment contracts | Missing signatures, no addendum when pay changed, a contract type that does not match the actual work |
| Internal labour rules | Never registered, or amended and not re-registered |
| Salary scale and pay table | Not built, or built without consulting the employee representative organisation |
| Timekeeping and overtime | Ceilings exceeded, wrong multipliers, no written consent to overtime |
| Compulsory insurance | Fewer people covered than employed; contributions based on less than contractual pay |
| Occupational safety | No training records, health checks not at the required intervals |
| Dialogue and the agreement | No periodic dialogue minutes, an expired agreement left unaddressed |
