Base entitlement under Article 113

Distinguish the three working-condition groups.

An employee who has worked twelve months for one employer is entitled to annual leave on full contractual pay. The number of days depends on working conditions and on the employee's circumstances.

Normal working conditions12 days
Minors, employees with disabilities, and those in arduous, hazardous or dangerous work14 days
Those in especially arduous, hazardous or dangerous work16 days

The unit is WORKING days

Twelve days of leave means twelve working days; weekly rest days and public holidays falling inside the period are not counted. This is where deductions most often go wrong for longer absences.
