Put the assistant into real use and keep it correct.
A successful release isn't 'switch it on and done'. Start with a small pilot group, gather feedback, fix wrong answers, then scale. Most important: the BACKGROUND DOCUMENTS determine accuracy — when policy changes, you must update the assistant's documents, or it will answer with the old policy. Assign a person/team responsible for updates.
Maintaining an HR assistant
- Assign an owner responsible for updating documents
- Update the knowledge whenever policy/process changes
- Track questions the assistant answers wrong / can't answer, to supplement
- Clearly show 'this is an AI assistant' and how to reach a human
